Road success for motocross star - 2008 MX2 British Motocross Champion and World number four Shaun Simpson showed that his success is not just limited to the track, with the twenty year old from Fife in Scotland having passed his motorcycle test earlier today.

Thursday 13th November will see CCM founder Alan Clews open the four days of CCM activity at the Dirt Bike Show, to be held at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry. Alan will be signing copies of the new Rolling Thunder book that charts the history of the famous Bolton based company from its beginning right through to the present day. The signed limited edition copies will only be available at the show and to Club 35 members (see below for further details).

Charley Boorman, the star of Long Way Round and Long Way Down will be attending this year's Annual Dirt Bike Show on Saturday the 15th November. The actor who has recently completed his successful series 'By Any Means' and who is a keen Off Road enthusiast is visiting the show to view what 2009 has to offer in the Off Road World. The Dirt Bike Show once again takes place at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from the 13th - 16th November.

The season just got better for Graham Jarvis and the MRS Sherco team, after taking his fifth British Championship Trials title a couple of weeks ago, Jarvis broke history at the famous Scott Trial at the weekend, where he took his eighth win, the most any rider has won it since the Scott Trial began in 1914!

Weston Beach Race 12th October 2008. Shaun Simpson KTM UK rounded off his 2008 season with an unexpected second place on his debut at the World famous Weston Beach Race. The three-hour sea front battle at Weston-Super-Mare was won by the sand man himself Stefan Everts, who will be Simpson¹s mentor when he moves to the factory KTM team next year.

A late change in circumstances, has now allowed the newly crowned MX2 British Motocross Champion to take part in this unique race.

With only a brief pause the 2008 FIM SPEA Trial World Championship enters into its final chapter, with the next two weekends seeing the closing two events of this year’s series. Castelloli in Spain, just sixty kilometres North West of Barcelona will host the final round on 21st September, but prior to that this coming Sunday will see the championship make its penultimate stop in Portugal.
